The SC/ST cell within the college is established to ensure the effective implementation of affirmative policies and orders aimed at the welfare and advancement of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities. The primary objective of this cell is to create an inclusive and supportive environment within the college for students and faculty belonging to SC/ST communities.

By establishing an SC/ST cell in accordance with the directives of the Government of India, the college demonstrates its commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion on its campus and contributing to the socio-economic empowerment of SC/ST communities.

Objectives:

1. To facilitate admissions and to provide necessary support services to SC/ST students
2. To monitor the reservation policy of the college
3. To organise awareness programmes, workshops and seminars to promote understanding and sensitivity towards issues faced by SC/ST communities
4. To monitor the implementation of various government schemes and policies related to SC/ST Communities
