Student Forum

The Student Council in a college plays a crucial role in representing the interests and concerns of the student body. Its scope and objectives typically encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment. Student council is elected from among the leaders and representatives of the college.

Objectives of a Student Council

  1. To serve as the official voice of the student body, representing their interests, concerns, and needs to the college administration and other relevant stakeholders.
  2. Advocate for changes or improvements in college policies, procedures, and facilities to enhance the overall student experience and address issues identified by the student body.
  3. To provide opportunities for students to develop and enhance their leadership skills, including teamwork, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Organize events, activities, and initiatives that foster a sense of community, inclusion, and belonging among students from diverse backgrounds.
  5. To engage students in service projects, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach efforts that contribute positively to the college community and the broader society.

Composition of Student Forum : It functions under the supervision of the Principal. It comprises of a General Secretary, Asst. General Secretary, Games and Sports Secretary, Asst. Games and Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Asst. Cultural Secretary, Literary and Magazine secretary, Asst. Literary and Magazine Secretary, Girls Welfare Secretary, Asst. Girls welfare secretary and Information and Publicity secretary.
