Women’s Grievance Cell

The cell has been established to address grievances and ensure the safety and security of female students, staff, and faculty members at Salesian College of Higher Education. The Women's Grievance Cell is vigilant at all times to prevent any form of abuse. If any female student, staff, or faculty member experiences harassment from colleagues, workers or students, they can file a complaint with the College Women's Grievance Cell. The members of the cell will investigate the issues, gather evidence, and take appropriate action against the perpetrators.

  1. To provide a safe and supportive environment for female students, staff, and faculty.
  2. To address grievances related to harassment, discrimination, or any other gender-related issues.
  3. To ensure prompt and confidential handling of complaints.
  4. To promote gender equality and create awareness about women's rights and issues.
  5. To organize workshops, seminars, and other activities to educate and empower women
  6. To collaborate with other organizations and institutions to advocate for women's rights.
  7. To facilitate access to counseling and support services for women facing grievances.
  8. To promote a culture of respect and gender equality within the college community.

To encourage women to report grievances without fear of retaliation and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect.
